Advertising standards have been accused many times for promoting drug use, sexual promiscuity and anorexia. They are now being hailed for this image revealed by Mui Mui. They say that it is too dangerous to promote safety on train tracks. But surely.. anyone who knows the damage a train can do should know not to sit on it anyway D:For other stories on fashion from the guardian go to http://www.facebook.com/GuardianFashion?sk=wall
Wow your blog is filled with your interesting knowledge. I have specifically chosen to comment on this entry as it shows you are really concerned about your chosen practice in fashion. Also that you know of whats been banned from magazines such as anorexia. It is an interesting read and I like the little comments like for example "But surely.. anyone who knows the damage a train can do should know not to sit on it anyway D:"
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy!! Do they really think this image is going to promote hanging out on a train track??!! I think the media need to be more focussed other other issues in the fashion industry such as anorexia and the deaths that have occured as a result of models being told they are 'too fat.'
ReplyDeleteour blog looks great, I have also scanned in my notes as it has saved me alot of time, allowing me to do more research but still having them there is great to look over and see what we did in lectures. :)
